Project Overview
Vex is a modern mobile communication and CRM platform built specifically for sales agents and teams. It consolidates email, chat, sales pipeline tracking, performance analytics, and AI-powered follow-up suggestions into one intuitive mobile experience.
The goal was to create a fast, delightful tool that helps sales professionals stay organized, respond quickly, and close more deals on the go.
The Challenge
Sales agents often juggle multiple tools (email, WhatsApp, CRM, spreadsheets) which leads to:
- Fragmented communication and lost context
- Difficulty tracking deal progress
- Slow response times to important emails and messages
- Lack of actionable insights during customer conversations
- Poor mobile experience in most traditional CRM tools
Project Goals
- Design a clean, mobile-native experience focused on speed and simplicity
- Unify communication channels (Email + In-app Chat)
- Provide clear visibility into sales pipeline and performance
- Incorporate smart AI suggestions for follow-ups
- Enable quick actions and replies to boost productivity
Design Process
I designed Vex with a strong emphasis on mobile usability, clarity, and actionability. The interface uses a calm color palette with purple accents, generous spacing, and large touch targets.
Key Design Decisions
- Bottom navigation for core sections (Home, Inbox, Pipeline, Analytics, Profile)
- Smart summary cards and quick-reply templates
- Clear visual distinction between In Progress and Done deals
- Contextual actions (Add to CRM, Schedule Follow-up, Quick Reply)
- Personalized performance metrics on the home screen
